What will a regular day look like for my camper?

Every day will be a little bit different, but here is the general schedule:

8am - Camp Coquina opens for early arrivals

9am - Daily Greeting and Song

9:15am - 10am - First Activity

10am - 10:30am - Second Activity

10:30am - Healthy Snack Time and Stories

11am - Third Activity

12pm - Lunch (brought from home), Half-Day Campers get picked up

12:30pm - 1pm - Fourth Activity

1pm - 3pm - Free play

What kinds of activities will you be offering?

At Camp Coquina we will offer arts and crafts, music, games, outdoor and indoor free play, and a full water day (Thursday, Day 4 or 5 if weather doesn’t permit the day before). Campers will be encouraged to participate in everything, but we will have secondary options for kids who aren’t interest in a particular activity.

When does registration open?

April 21st! But, you can fill out our application form if you are interested and your child will be offered a spot at Camp Coquina before general registration begins.

Will food be provided?

We provide a healthy snack for all campers that we’ll have around 10:30am every day, so make sure your child arrives with a full enough belly to last until then! Full day campers must bring their own lunches. Of course, please let us know about any allergies and dietary restrictions.

Do I need to sign my child up for the whole week?

No! Your children are welcome to attend whichever days they are available and you can also alternate between half and full days based on your schedule. In terms of programming, every day will be different and there will be some threads and themes that last through the week, so for the full experience, we do encourage campers attend every day.

Where and when do I drop off and pick up my child?

The camp is held at the Star Song School at 105 Masters Drive, St. Augustine, FL 32084. You are welcome to drop your child off as early as 8am every day and daily activities will start at 9am. Half day pick-up is 12pm and full day pick-up is 3pm.

Is this an indoor or outdoor camp?

Luckily we have access to wonderful indoor and outdoor spaces. This will give us flexibility in dealing with the Florida summer heat and potential inclement weather.

What does my child need to bring?

You’ll receive an email with a full pack-list the week before camp, but your child will need a swim suit and towel for Water Day, a change of clothes, a water bottle, and lunch if they are a full-day camper.
